I contributed style frames and 3D design and animation to a video celebrating the grand opening of Newlab Detroit's headquarters inside the restored Michigan Central Book Depository, a 1936 Albert Kahn-designed Art Deco landmark reimagined as a creative workspace. The design direction drew on the physical scale models architects relied on before CAD tools took hold in the 1980s and 90s, tying the building's history to the way the piece itself was made.
Challenge: Multi-Modal Logistics
I led 3D design and animation on this recruitment video exploring the strain that oversized freight haulers place on global logistics, making the case for smaller, more flexible delivery methods built for adaptability at scale, and contributed 2D design and animation as well. The freight itself breaks apart and reforms into smaller units to visualize the shift.
Challenge: Newlab Riyadh
I contributed style frames and 2D and 3D design and animation to this recruitment video for Newlab's Mining Innovation Studio in Riyadh, developed alongside Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Ma'aden, ESNAD, and the Saudi Geological Survey. The piece positions Saudi Arabia as a new hub in the global mining value chain, part of Newlab's expansion under Vision 2030.
